Former Prime Minister and HRPP leader, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, left the TTM Hospital this morning, Monday, 17 Jan’21, after four nights under observation and rest.
He was fit and well enough to catch up on the talk shortly afterwards with his party crowd at the Maota I Petesa.
He was admitted on Thursday night running a fever and physically weak but in a stable condition.
Doctors rested him up for observation and to recover his strength.
He was allowed visitors and was seen and found to be fine and in good spirits by many of his well wishers.
His unplanned admission caused a scare for the waves of supporters who responded quickly with get well wishes to news he was hospitalized.
The 76 year old has had an active work rate since his former ruling HRPP party took on the opposition role to the new FAST Government.
He was been central to all the HRPP plans and fundraising activities to upgrade the Maota I Petesa headquarters at Sogi that included leading the party’s popular Koko Samoa Serenaders entertainment.
Tuilaepa has been holding regular weekly press conferences as well with the local media to air the political views of the party on national issues.
