The HRPP party former deputy leader, Fonotoe Pierre Lauofo, is back as deputy leader.
The party MPs elected him in a secret ballot last night, Thursday 22 April 2021 at HRPP headquarters in Sogi.
The Anoama’a 2 MP once held the second-to-the-top party position until he was replaced after the 2016 general elections.
His successor at the time is now the leader of the rival FAST party Fiame Naomi Mataafa who resigned from the HRPP before the general elections that just ended.
