Bike riding police squad shows versatility by being part of another worthy cause other than normal enforcement work. Here they are part of a multi-ministries public awareness promotion of the National Renewable Energy Day last Thursday.
Members of the squad were assigned to each of the teams selected from 8 Ministries and Corporations for a triathlon race from the Malaefatu Park to Mulinu’u and back.
The fun race was to demonstrate the ability to move around without the need for fossil fuel that is not renewable and damages the environment from poisonous gas.
Fun activities involving members of our police force taking part is not common but when it does happen it portrays them in a more warmer environment rather than stern no nonsense enforcers of the law. Good one officers!
