A prominent Catholic priest, Fr. Muliau Stowers, has passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of this morning, Friday 4 February 2022.
The Office of the Catholic Archbishop released a short official statement a few hours ago to confirm his sudden passing at 1.00am in the morning.
Fr. Stowers is a senior church member of the Archdiocese of Samoa-Apia and was the current Episcopal Vicar for the Vicariate of St. Michael the Archangel in Leauva’a.
The Catholic cleric was a popular personality on the church Upumana television network, with his regular commentary slot on the teachings of the faith.
His funeral arrangements are yet to be officially announced.
