Maybe it is time our faifeau preach more about the use of God’s name in vain.

Be more specific and point out the unGodly people who cunningly throw the Lord’s name around for their own personal purposes.

Put the emphasis on how these people are totally devoid of any care for the innocent victims who suffer the lies from the use of God’s name.

The faifeau should focus more on those in positions of leadership with their influence on the majority.

Political leadership will be a good start.

Concentrate on the politicians who dwell on God’s name as a  miraculous tool of faith to cunningly manipulate and win the trust of the masses.

To be fair, politicians in Samoa are Christians, whether they are good or bad Christians, is not the point.

The Trinity of God, Son and the Holy Spirit, is the foundation of being a Christian, and our politicians believe in that.

There are no complaints if the use of God’ name is for a good and divine cause – the Almighty will be pleased.

When it is NOT then our faifeau should pound harder from the pulpit.

Politicians without guilt has no fear whatsoever of the damnations of hell.

Remember, the choice of free will, is a personal gift from God.

Underline personal.

A politician who blatantly lies for personal gains without a care for the sorrow and grief to the innocent as a result is very unlikely to care.

The rules are clear on the pathways to follow into Hell or Heaven.

A choice is a choice. It is a personal decision.

But if politicians deliberately manipulate the truth to mislead the God-fearing masses, then God overrules all choices.

So the only judgement is His.

The politician alleged to have offered off to American Samoa 400 acres of Government farmland at Togitogiga for personal benefits made a choice.

Many more questionable dealings are alleged against this same politician at the Cabinet level.

Let God judge.

The same politician is in actual fact calling on God to do just that.

When God is called in as your star witness would you dare to doubt?

As a member of the masses, what you are left with however is who to believe in?

Would you trust a politician, fearless enough to call on God to make you believe he is a child watched over from Heaven?

What about political rivals who do not make these allegations lightly and are willing to offer witnesses as proof?

Who do we trust?  Therein lies what the faifeau , as God’s man in this world, should straightened out.

Need we say more?

Just as a reminder the taking of God’s name in vain is lined up third in the listing of the 10 Holy Commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.”
