Long serving National Kidney Foundation General Manager, Mulipola Roger Hazelman, remains the best management choice for the life saving health service.

His contract to head the Foundation was renewed for another stipulated 3 year term by Cabinet during the week.

Mulipola has sat at the top management post for the past 16 consecutive years already.

By the end of his new contract he would have served close to 20 years as head of the NKF.

Mulipola has watched the local demand for dialysis treatment took a huge leap from only 10 patients the Foundation started with in the early 2001 to 19 times or 190 to date.

“The Samoa National Kidney Foundation was established in 2005 to reduce incidences of kidney failure and kidney-related diseases in Samoa,” a Cabinet media statement explained.

“They provided dialysis services as well as a holistic care for patients with end stage renal failure. Dialysis treatment are done for patients at both the Moto’otua National Hospital for Upolu and the Tuasivi District Hospital for Savai’i.
