New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Mark Luxon has begun his Official Visit to Samoa with a formal Guard of Honour ceremony held in front of the Government Building in Apia.
The ceremony marked the official start of the Prime Minister’s visit and reflects the longstanding diplomatic relationship between Samoa and New Zealand. The Guard of Honour, a traditional state welcome, was conducted with full protocol as government officials and dignitaries gathered to receive the visiting leader.
Prime Minister Luxon’s visit is expected to include high-level meetings with Samoan leaders, discussions on bilateral cooperation, and engagements aimed at strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
