Imagine every Samoan from babies right up to the old folks walking around with painted fingernails.
It’s been done before. Every time we vote in our general elections, the 21 year olds all the way up walks around with marked fingernails.
Starting this week, however, keep watch. If you see one with a stroke or dash on any of the fingers it means that person is $50 tala richer.
The only question is whether the $50 is still around or melted into the cooking pot or belly pot. How else do we roll?
The deed is a good one. The country is given a much needed cheer with the hard times of COVID-19 making life miserable.
But of course the political detractors will put a different spin to the Government intentions. What else is new?
But lets not go there. Lets all enjoy our $50 ‘trallas’.
