For the hundreds who walked out of the EFKS Youth Hall $50 richer last Saturday the feeling must have been a good one.
At least it’s their turn to prance about with hard cash in the pocket even if they were ‘Johnny come lately.’
Would be interesting to follow up with the shops if there have been any noticeable changes in sales since urban Apia was flooded with $50 all weeklong.
Surely many will be singing extra sweet in church Sunday probably at the added thought of a tasty to’ona’i warming up in the oven at home.
