Members of the Women In Business (WIBDI) organisation have much to thank Yazaki Kizuna Foundation, for a new building to train and even put up travelling members for the night.
The building was officially handed over today at the WIBDI Nu’u headquarters, by the Yazaki Kizuna Foundation Managing Director, Mr. Hosokawa.
“Today, we will hand over 2 items : One is this Fale 2 for training and housing any staff and members who need a temporary place to stay.
“This house will ensure that all WIBDI staff members have a safe comfortable space while working here.

“The other is 20 water tanks for vulnerable families in Upolu and
Savai’i . These tanks will help to reduce the burden on farmers to procure water, improve their quality of life, and achieve stable crop production.
A grateful WIBDI President, Maluseu Sheree Stehlin, responded in gratitude to the Yazaki Foundation Managing Director.
“This new facility will play a vital role in our work by providing a space for training our staff and farmers and offering accommodation for our farmers from Savaii who travel to Apia to sell their produce at our organic markets.
“We also extend our sincere gratitude for your generous funding of 20 water tanks which will be distributed to farming families in both Savaii and Upolu who currently lack access to clean water.
The steadfast support and generosity we have received from the Yazaki Kizuna Foundation since 2019 has greatly contributed to the success of our programs.
Your contribution to our work by means of funding for our vehicles and our infrastructure has been invaluable and we applaud your commitment to. maintaining your strong connections to Samoa and to its development.”
