This was at Faleolo International Airport on the arrival of the first large group of stranded travellers from New Zealand. The officer on the motorcycle was among the escort squad for the convoy of white vans transporting the new arrivals along the coastal road all the way to Apia. The ride was a long one but the procession of vehicles about a mile arrived into Apia safely. All the travellers were quarantined as required under the emergency lockdown restrictions to protect against the COVID-19 virus.
