The tense drum rolls are rattling louder in the few hours left before the crowning moment for the Miss Pacific Islands 2025 in the host country, Solomon Is.
Miss Samoa, Litara Ieremia Alan, has the winning hopes of Samoa riding on her shoulders.
The same for all the other young ladies representing their island nation, in the full lineup of 8 contestants in the beauty pageant.
The regional media has kept a close coverage on all the scheduled activities the ladies are taking part in.
Included in the last few days the media reportedly on extensively is the online voting for the People’s Choice Award.
The winner is the contestant with the most online votes leading up to the close of polling tomorrow, before the final judging on Saturday 8 January 2025.
Miss Samoa was leading the popular vote count as of yesterday, Thursday 6 Febarury , with Miss Tonga following closely behind at second place. (See photo)
The pair has been neck and neck from the start, taking turns at the lead, comfortably ahead of the other contestants.
The countries represented at this year’s event are Solomon Islands, Samoa, Tonga, American Samoa, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Nauru, and the Cook Islands.
