The commemoration of Holy Easter with an enactment of the moments up to the crucifixion of the Son of Man, is an annual activity for the children taught at the Vaimea Primary School.
The events of the moment were performed infront of the school today, Wednesday 31 March 2021.
The school has a roll of more than 200 mostly young students.
School principal, Mapuiti’asa Mr, Aukuso holds the commemoration of this important moment in the Christian faith highly in the learning of the children.
“It is very important for the children to understand what Good Friday is all about and the value of the sacrifice the Lord made for human kind,” Mapuiti’asa said.
The children were organised in groups assigned different roles to play either signing hymns or evangelising.
Schools break for the Easter Holidays today and continue on into the first holiday for the year.
