Former Prime Minister and HRPP opposition Leader, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, has congratulated Fiji’s new Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka.
The longest serving Prime Minister for Samoa sent this congratulatory note to the new Fijian leader.
It reads:

Heartiest Congratulations on your appointment as leader of the new Government of Fiji.
Both Samoa and Fiji have always been working together in the Pacific Leaders Forum for the improvement of the lives of our people.
We are all facing many challenges which required urgent regional and international co-operation of all our members in the Forum.
May 2023 bring new opportunities for us all to grow together economically, socially and politically.
