A 6.5 magnitude earthquake rocked the island last night only hours away from the predicted rising of the palolo this morning around the islands.
The Met Office reading centered the earthquake at 192 kilometers south west of Apia at 11.27 pm. The depth was measured at 10 kilometers.
There were quick assurances that the earth movement did not generate any tsunami.
The predicted palolo rising this morning is the second and final rising of the most sought after sea worm expected on the 7th and 8th of November 2020.
