The Samoa Fire Emergency Services Authority, SFESA, set in fire the happy spirit of Christmas at the end of the working day with a special parade from Vaisigano Bridge into central Apia.
The police band led the procession of SFESA staff and a fleet of fire engines as well as electric vehicles and ambulances in use to respond to emergencies.
The parade turned around the town clock on their way back to fire station where for the staff choir highlighted the event with a night of singing carols in celebration of the spirit of Christmas.
