Police has appealed for public information to help their investigation of a male whose body was found under the Lelata Bridge about three weeks ago.
The deceased was found lying in a pool of blood on a Wednesday 17 February 2021.
“The Police in particular seeks the assistance of those who had traveled on Lelata road between 1am and 5am of the above mentioned date for any information that might assist with its investigation,” the statement on the police website appealed.
“All information provided and identity of those who wish to come forward and assist Police will be protected.
“Please call 22222 extension 150 and ask for Detective Inspector Papalii Efo Moalele or the Criminal Investigation Division at the Police Headquarters in Apia should you need further clarification.”
No details of any suspect/s or arrests were made.
