….. men dangling on electrical poles among criss-crossing wires on the side of the road is not uncommon. Since the work happens out in the open it is there for everyone to see.
We often marvel at the skill levels these EPC linesmen have but quickly put it down to specialised training. Of course they need skill training or they won’t be able to do the work.
But for these electrical workers it is not enough to learn and know the skills. Danger of electrocution becomes inherited as second nature or the job could turn deadly with a simple wrong move.
Tragically there have been several occasions in the past where that has happened. This is a high-risk profession and danger lurks everytime they’re on the job.
We tend to overlook life-threatening risks after seeing the men at work all the time but there’s no room for negligent human error in this line of work.
Keep safe guys.
