….young lady with an interesting questioning look at the back of a family pickup truck.
The vehicles was at the carpark adjacent the Government Building lawn at the reclaimed area.
She and her siblings were obviously on a joy ride to watch the SNPF parade of floats last week along Beach Road .
The celebration parade drew many young people either to the grass lawn or alongside the road.
The floats rolled along Beach Road from the Vaisigano Bridge to and around the Town Clock and onwards to the Govt. Building.
By the time these young people grow up to find jobs and become contributors to the Fund 50 years from now, many are likely to still remember watching the Golden Jubilee parade last week.
When and if the time comes for SNPF to hold another Beach Rd parade for their century anniversary celebrations, many of these young people would carry memories of being around for the 50th birthday parade.
Lucky people!
