….with the production of the Vailima Brand beer re-located to Fiji the only locally brewed beer we have now is the TAULA the same as TAXI soft drinks.
This was one of the scenes at the Falelauniu factory in the early stages shortly after the opening of production.
Local staff are seen here keeping a watchful eye on the bottling of the TAXI softdrinks .
A healthy competition have evolved on the years noticably between the two brand beers – Vailima and Taula.
There are many speculations about the TAULA asserting its appeal with its rival moving out of Samoa.
But that is a matter of taste and to a large extent price.
It remains to been seen what the Vailima will cost as an imported beer brewed in Fiji.
Taste is another deciding factor with speculations of a possible change from what local consumer prefer.
It is a wait and see outcome for now.
