The images of our people crowding hospital corridors and sleeping on floors as they seek critical treatment for their loved ones affected by dengue fever is disturbing and heartbreaking.
Where are the Faatuatua i le Atua Samoa ua Tasi – Samoa Uniting Party Government Leaders and what they are doing to provide the necessary leadership to guide the relief efforts taken by our medical professionals?
During the measles epidemic in 2019 and the COVID-19 in 2020, the Human Rights Protection Party closed government offices and visited the sick in the hospitals and in the villages.
We stood together with village leaders to ensure cooperation with health directives on what to do.
The FAST and SUP must prioritize the Dengue Fever Crisis, not campaigning or unnecessary overseas travels.
Stop the pretense.
What has been done over the past 3 and a half years speaks for itself.
That alone should be the FAST-SUP political campaign.
For once, try serving the people of Samoa first.
