The construction of two-storey buildings currently under way at what was once open playground for St. Joseph’s College, has become a familiar sight of recent weeks in this Lotopa area.

The Catholic Order of Marist Brothers own this prime piece of property.

This is where they built and developed the college into one of the corner stones of secondary education in Samoa.

St. Joseph’s College has a proud history of achievements to boast of in all sectors of national developments, but that is a story better left to all who entered the school doors to tell.

The Marist Brothers have for a while been going through a gradual shifting of location from Lotopa up several hundred meters to  slightly higher terrain at Alafua.

Why they have done so is another story to add to the blessings their faith has brought into the nation building needs of Samoa.
