The head of the auditing firm BDO Samoa is the new Patron of the very active
Marist Brothers Old Pupils Association, MBOPA.
Oloipola Mr. Terence Betham was added a respected elder of the association at its annual general meeting last Friday.
Oloiploa is a recipient of the ‘Marist Excellence Service Award in 2018, in recognition of his contributions to the Marist Brothers educational commitments.
The late Chief Justice, Patu Tiava’asu’e Falefatu Maka Sapolu held the position before his passing.
Members also re-elected the incumbent executive officers at the AGM :
President : Aumua Ming Leung Wai, Vice: Leituala Joseph Chan Ting, Treasurer: Leota Tuivaiave Ioane Maletino Kaisa, General Secretary: Fuiono James Westerlund, Assistant Treasurer: Tevaga Viane Tagiilima, Assistant Secretary: Asuao Vou Pupi.
