Police are investigating an alleged attack this morning by two grownup women on the former Prime Minister and HRPP opposition leader, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi
The incident reportedly occurred at the end of a prayer service organised as part of a tradition by the Ministry of Justice to seek blessings before the start off the working year.
Tuilaepa was reportedly about to step into his car when the women allegedly confronted him.
It remains to be confirmed what sparked the confrontation and if the police investigations will lead to any legal charges.
Members of Cabinet and the Judiciary attended the prayer service.
