The Samoa Life Assurance Corporation, SLAC, has a new General Manager, Ms. Heseti Sione Vaai.
Her Cabinet appointment was made public today Monday 7 December 2020.
Ms. Vaai is contracted to the top executive position for the next three (3) years.
Her road to the top started close to 30 years ago when she joined the Audit Office.
Six years later she moved on to the Samoa Water Authority where she has worked for the last 23 years.
She was the Commercial Manager for the Water Authority when her new appointment came through this week.
The veteran public servant is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Financial Manager from the University of the South Pacific and a Business Diploma from the AUT in New Zealand.
