….annnddd our new Miss Pacific Islands 2025 is Litara Ieremia Alan – Miss Samoa.
\What a beautiful, breath stopping news, to wake up to on this the Lord’s Day.
Thank you Heavenly Father for our new Miss Pacific Islands.
Your blessings are divine indeed.
First it was our Miss Moemoana Schwenke. Now our Miss Litara wears the crown in succession.
Must admit the attention at home, including the many Samoans in the diaspora, centred all week long on the regional beauty pageant.
Any tidbit dripped onto our social media, sparks a flurry of interest enough to give the eyebrows a questioning cringe.
To say there is celebration by a very proud nation of people to wake up to this morning is true enough.
This being a Sunday, the spiritual roof in the Lord’s House will be ripped into the Heavens by the grateful prayers of overjoyed Samoans.
We are of course a country Founded on God. But lets leave it there.
Please lets not say the win is God’s Will.
Surely our Lord also heard the other island contestants praying for the same win.
Leave it to our FAST Government political leaders to do the Will of God sweet talk.
They have a solid claim on the exclusive rights to the use of the Holy expression.
What sure way to command the Will of their gullible followers then to claim it was directed straight from Heaven?
Our ruling politicians also claim the same rights of ownership for the use of the ‘Divine Wisdom’ expression.
There again, how else would you silence any doubts at their decision making than to claim a holy presence?
But is it God’s Will for the PM to hold on to the Government leadership when her breakaway party does not have the right without the legal numbers to do so?
Is it Divine Wisdom to find legal loopholes to run out the official term of office when the rule of law demands an immediate return to the polls?
So what if there are no safety worries for the country, as the PM insisted when the fears of her ruling party’s breakup were brought to her attention?
Is it a good conscience requirement for our politicians to stay on illegally in power until our public safety and well-being are at risk by the crisis their leadership triggered?
Would God agree to allow Samoa to face a Constitutional Crises, because the democratic rights of the people to the vote are deliberately denied?
Whatever happened to ‘Thou Shalt Not Use My Name In Vain”commandment, Madam PM and your FAST Party leadership?
Today is a day to celebrate our new Miss Pacific Islands win.
If we want to offer our Lord Saviour a sincere and genuine thank you, simply whisper in your heart an unspoken prayer… ‘Thank You Lord For Your Blessings On Our Miss Litara’.
He will hear you including your true, heartfelt, sincerity.
