Fa’amausili honoured by the Mount Albert Grammar School in a naming ceremony at the college boarding house for girls.

The Office of the Attorney General’s Associate Public Solicitor, Ms. Sosefina Fa’amausili, was honoured in New Zealand during the week by her former college at Mount Albert Grammar School (MAGS).

One of only three hallways/ houses in the school’s newly built Centennial Boarding house for girls was named after her.

Fa’amausili was the first college head girl in 2004 and flew from Samoa to attend the opening of the new school boarding house in New Zealand.

“The years I spent at MAGS were some of the best years of my life …awesome teachers with life long friends made,” she told the school at the official opening.

“I experienced a lot of things I otherwise would not have the privilege of experiencing, coming from Samoa.”

Her parents who are based in New Zealand joined her at the opening.

The young solicitor  went on to do her university studies at Auckland University where she graduated with Bachelors in Arts and in Law.

She has been admitted to appear both in the New Zealand High Court and the Supreme Court in Samoa.
