Fiji Airways is treating Sharon Roma of Saleufi and traveling companion to a return flight Apia-Los Angeles as the main winners of a joint raffle run by Vodafone Samoa and the Marist Brothers Old Pupils Association, MBOPA.
Several other winning prizes were drawn today at the Vodafone Maluafou head office in the first of a fortnightly series of raffle drawings scheduled all the way next year 2023.
The raffle drawings are organized as a build up to the major raffle draw next year to win the latest Ford Raptor Model pick-up truck with a market value of $128,000
Vodafone is playing a key supporting role in the MBOPA fundraising drive, as their way to give back to the country for their support.
MBOPA has evolved into the main fundraising body for educational developments in schools run by the Catholic Order of Marist Brothers.
The car raffle is their main fundraising drive this year for Marist Brothers educations at the primary level at Mulivai and secondary at St. Joseph’s College, Alafua.
