Always a special moment running into our Manu Samoa rugby legends by chance as it was with these guys, Brian Lima ( left) and To’o Vaega (right).

The pair were spotted a few days ago at one of the main shopping centres in South Auckland, New Zealand.

When the Manu Samoa stunned and surprise the rugby world at the expense of Wales in the 1991 World Cup, these guys were among the conquering heroes of the famous win.

Fans since then tracked every feint and swerve their nifty boots made on the rugby paddocks, to leave their opponents grasping at whooshing air as they dashed off to the try line.

Rugby, became a major sporting pathway for these fellas and it is little surprise it was behind the attraction to play and eventually settle in New Zealand.

What blossomed out of the fanatical surroundings of the Manu Samoa home ground at the Apia Park is rugby history these two are a central part of.

Malo boys!
