Polling officials assigned to Electoral Constituencies in the rural villages of Upolu started making their way to selected election booths today, Thursday 8th April 2021.
The plan is to spend the night so they will be up and going as scheduled at the start of the polling run tomorrow morning. Friday 9th April 2021.
The Tuanaimato Aqua Gymnasium was the staging areas for last minute preparations before they ride out into the villages.
A long convoy of wooden buses lined the roadside on the street next to the Tuanaimato swimming compound to transport the polling officers.
Most of the transport fleet of buses were parked inside the compound.
