The Samoa Water Authority is getting 5 brand new vehicles for its working fleet bought under a grant from Japan.
The vehicles total cost will be around $543,000 and will help raise the SWA work performances in the management of water supplies around Samoa.
The SWA Managing Director, Fuimaono Dominic Schwalger, signed an official agreement for the grant with Japan’s Ambassador to Samoa, HE Mr. Senta Keisuke.
Japan’s Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) provided the funding.
A press statement following the formal process by the two sides of signing on the agreement, noted more support likely by Japan of the SWA work.
