….. it’s good these guys have a moment to enjoy after the stressful week of polling that must have taken a toll on the nerves.
Imagine every night sitting up to wait for the pre-polling results to be posted to see how they were doing.
If they’re doing well in the polls it would be some relief to sleep well in the night. But that is hardly the case if you’re behind in the vote and doubt starts to play in your head.
A whole week of sitting on edge waiting and wondering if you and your election committee have done enough to win the support of your constituents is bad or the heart.
So when the big moment finally comes and all the gods are smiling on you, it is a special time that must be as close to being divine and holy then any other for these elected MPs. Congratulations.
