New Zealand supporters of the Human Rights Protection Party, HRPP, are meeting up in person with visiting leaders of the opposition party this week.
Most of the caucus and party officials flew out last Tuesday for the ‘meet n greet’ visit that was scheduled following a similar trip recently to American Samoa.
A corporate dinner at the Auckland City Cordis Hotel, on Friday night local time, will make it possible for every one to catch up.
The HRPP Leader, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, is set to clear up with the party followers and the general Samoan community, the many misleading issues of concern Government has been feeding the diaspora.
Telling overseas based Samoans they will be able to vote from where they live without having to fly to Samoa is one example, Tuilaepa has warned of repeatedly.
The HRPP Leader is also hoping to present a petition to the NZ Parliamentary Select Committee on the repealing of the Citizenship Act for Samoan born in the 1948.
Arrangements are in the process for the petition presentation to be possible within the time the HRPP caucus members are in NZ.
