His Highness was on Campus as the University Chancellor to attend the graduation last Thursday and Friday.
“If you want to do the right thing, you must follow the law as your clients choose you,” His Highness, Chancellor Tuimaleali’ifano urged law students on campus.
“I was a policeman previously before I pursued my law degree. After I received my law degree, I was attached to the Police department and later transferred to the Attorney General’s office.
“Our government then decided to establish a public defender’s office, and I was the first to join with my background in criminal law.”
The Chancellor was excited for the law students who graduated this week at the USP Laucala graduation ceremony.
His Highness also toured the University Campuses for Marine studies and the School of Business and Management.
Samoa’s High Commissioner to Fiji, Aliioaiga Feturi Elisaia, joined the Head of State as a member of the touring party as well as the Head of State private secretary Mr Ulugia Mareko Tulouna.
