The Head of State, His Highness Tuimaleali’ifano Va’aleto’a Sualauvi II and Masiofo Fa’amausili, are attending the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Ministry of the Prime Minister’s Chief Executive Officer, Agafili Shem Leo, is included in the delegation.

His Highness and Masiofo are flying out of Samoa on a special flight organized by Australia for heads of governments from around the region attending the final service for the British monarch.

The group is expected to leave for the United Kingdom on a direct flight from Australia.

Her Majesty’s is at Westminster Abbey on Sept. 19, Monday Samoan time.

Queen Elizabeth II died last Thursday at the age of 96.

Her Majesty’s son Prince Charles III is now the reigning monarch with his son Prince William taking over as Prince of Wales and heir to the throne after his father.
