Four new flights are lined up from April to June to fly in stranded travellers on the second quarter of the year 2021.
The first flight scheduled for the 17th of April are for travelers from Hawaii, Canada, Alaska and Europe who will fly over from the US to New Zealand and then to Samoa.
The second flight on the 7th of May will bring in RSE workers from Australia and New Zealand. It will include travelers from Asia and those who underwent medical treatment in India.
The 28th of May flight will also include returning RSE workers followed by the 18th of June flight for New Zealand and Australian travellers.
The NEOC co-ordinating centre, however, has issued strict new travel advice for inbound travelers that entry to Samoa will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
All must be in touch via email with the Samoa Ministry of Health authorities 21 days before scheduling travel.
Travellers who had tested positive for the COVID 19 virus have to meet several criteria for entry including a 6 months wait from the date of infection.
Vaccination injections enough to cover 2 thousand 200 people in Samoa are due to arrive towards the end of this month of early March, the Minister of Health told Parliament last week.
Frontline workers are the first to be injected together with the medical health staff.
Next up would be the more vulnerable older generation.
