The Electric Power Corporation, EPC, General Manager Faumui Iese Toimoana, is staying on in his top job for another 3 years.
The 56 year old’s head of management contract, was approved by Cabinet at their weekly meeting last Wednesday at the end of his first 3 year term.
Faumui has served with EPC since he graduated from overseas scholarship studies with a New Zealand Certificate in 1994.
Out of a long working career now edging past a total of 30 years, he has spent, going onto more than 20 years with the corporation.
The only times he went missing were for more overseas schooling in New Zealand and Australia where he returned with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters degree in Science.
He also spend time away with the Samoa Water Authority for 5 years and as regional adviser for renewable energy based in Fiji for 3 years.
“Every calling is from God,” Faumui reacted when he was contracted for the first time as the EPC General Manager,
