The joyful mood of the holiday season has come early for the family of Toamua-uta young lady, Laveaina Faitele, as the Faleata College student dux for 2021.
Personally for the top student, it was a moment of living a longtime dream while on her academic climb all the way to her graduating year in college.
“This is a memorable moment for me when all my prayers over the years to do well in school are fulfilled and I thank the Lord’s blessings on me,” Faitele said after being awarded the top academic prize at the college hall on Wednesday.
What now remains in her academic pursuits are the, results for her Secondary School Leaving Certificate, SSLC.
The final exam for all end of year students sit in college decides the next direction in their future education in tertiary learning either at the University or vocational levels.
“My advice to do well in school is nothing more than to study hard and to keep the faith through prayers in the blessings of the Holy Spirit.”
Faitele has been a top stream student since starting college at Year 9 all the way to her final graduating class at Year 13.
Faleata College has a school roll of close to 800 students with the girls making up more than 50 per cent of the intake.
The school term ended with the prize giving.
