
MEDIA RELEASE : The European Union (EU) was updated in a visit this week.on the partnership work progress of the Samoa Victim Support, SVSG, as the year winds down for 2025.
The EU representatives “..expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the meeting and appreciated the opportunity to witness the achievements of the Nofotane women project,” according to an official SVSG statement.
“The Nofotane concept was originally established to address financial issues within families that contribute to gender-based violence. “
SVSG President Siliniu Lina Chang acknowledged the European Union (EU) assistance “… in developing this project, which has led to significant improvements in the living conditions of many Nofotane women and their families.”
