An earthquake at around 5.00am this morning may have given many in Samoa an early rattling wake up call to start off the new day.
An official confirmation from the Met Office is yet to come through but Online reports circulated by Google measured the earthquake magnitude at 5.2.
The centre was located about 105km from Savai’i Is with tremors felt in Tonga and American Samoa.
