So our Manu Samoa lost in Nuku’alofa.

Disappointing but not really a mourning loss.

The winning odds at Teufaiva Park were always against our boys  even if they were fired up for the challenge.

The same for the Ikale Tahi if the clash was at the Apia Park.

The psych-up power of the home support or ‘tapuaiga’ has that powerful influence..

We and our Tongan and Fijian rivals know that well from our many rugby wars.

But if we do want to lash out at our weekend loss, why not give our dumb-ass election politics, full blast for distracting our solemn ‘tapuaiga’ from the boys?

Our political loyalties heavily diluted the full focus of our ‘tapuaiga’ with the madness of elections.

Thank Heavens, the distraction only happens after every 5 years.

…..but if our elected leaders political rule is blinded by the same madness, that could be a different story over the full term, dear?
