Hard to fault the Kiwis for not following the Aussies on a special independence wear for their High Commission staff in honour of Samoa’s 60th Independence.
The Aotearoa folks have been on a swivel seat since PM Ardern followed her mate PM Fiame to Apia to celebrate the Treaty of Friendship.
The High Commissioner and his staff have hardly caught their breath when Governor General Kiro swings in.
Wonder who gave the Aussie High Commission staff this Indy dress up idea. Doubt if it’ll to matter to the Kiwis anyway.
Governor General Kiro will keep them on their toes all week next week. No time to bother with trivial stuff like dressing up the staff.
What about us natives. What do we make of all this?
“….. love to see what the Chinese Embassy staff wears, dear”
