Legal advise were flying all over the place last week if we can believe what our election storm was blowing up everywhere.
It didn’t matter where the gusting winds came blasting from. The howling sound before the all important Supreme Court hearing last Friday was QC..QC…QC….
QC is Queen’s Counsel in legal circles. In court matters it means heavy artillery.
Some were being lined up from the Land of the Long White Cloud or as far as Down Under.
Both sides dragged in their heavy guns in time to ‘lock and load’ with a virtual presence in court on Friday. How did it go?
No way of knowing that right now. We’ll have to wait and see what damage these legal heavyweights left behind.
Patience. All will be revealed when the court rules on Monday. Question is will there be more legal battles to follow?
At the way some people have been strutting around the place brace for more.
Don’t know about QCs but expect the court doors to be swinging non stop if the pace is going to be stepped up. Hold on to your ‘lavalava’.
