Good luck with our Samoa Airways flights to Savaii. At least we have something flying to restore pride in our national carrier.

Everything has been shutdown everywhere so why not fly to our own unspoiled big island, Savaii.

Anything is better than nothing. Some people need an honest days work to rightfully earn their salaries.

Whether it works this time is another story. The route has been tried many times and it has never exactly left our national airline crowd smiling all the way to the banks.

The travel route has been off and on over the years with flights from Fagali’i to Maota or Asau the most popular ones.

Fagali’i is history so now it’s all the way to Faleolo, just a stone’s throw away from the Mulifanua wharf….hate to mention that.

The tourism industry on the island is desperate for the air service but we’re going through some very difficult times right now.

Sailing the Lady Samoa ferry service between the islands is still the more popular choice of travel.

But that has always been the argument going way back to our once upon a time Polynesian Airline.

“…..there was no living happily ever after in that fairytale, dear.
