So, Mr. Speaker has only now, a month later, served charges on the two MPs who resigned from the HRPP.
The legal process must be a long one to take him all this time. Maybe the paperwork necessary for charges to be filed with the court added to the lengthy drag.
Do these things go through the courts?
Well…. with the current trend, whatever goes through our Mulinu’u Wok House, always seems to end up with the Judiciary.
We’ll just have to wait and see if that’ll be the same with these two MPs.
There’s a third one who resigned just a few days ago. When will he be charged?
If you’re the betting type, place your money on that happening next year when the House is called into session.
The Speaker took a whole month to bring charges against the first two. We’re already into the first week of December, so if we’re going by that timetable, next year is the winning bet.
If the charges are made this week or next, then it’s from the wild, unpredictable, wilderness our politics is lost in.
“…. has that anything to do with our alleged outlaw Government right now, dear?
