This kind of Beach Road clog-up is a daily headache for motorists on this section of the main Apia township road.
Traffic heading right-to-left into central Apia, from the eastern side of town, are forced into a standstill as seen in this photo here.
This happens when oncoming cars cross over into the opposite, inbound lanes, to enter the multi-storey bank building on their right.
The flow of traffic, moving east-west into Apia would screech to a sudden, frustrating halt.
Unfortunately for everyone, the township is expanding very quickly with revolving landscape changes that requires new road designs asap.
When that will happen, even for this section of the road, is always a wait and see matter with our road policy folks.
Word of caution! Try not to burst any life threatening blood veins stepping on the brakes, when oncoming traffic takes a sharp, sudden turn, in front of you.
