We may not have driven off in a Vodafone car…yet… but if they had continued to run their pre-recorded commercial every time a phone call is made, it would certainly drive someone off…to the mental ward.
Vodafone holds the caller to ransom every time a phone call is made to tell you to win a car in a big promotion they are making.
It doesn’t matter if you want a car or have one already, you’re locked in for the duration of the advertisement run before your call is put through.
The frustrations of being made to wait worsens when there’s a peep peep at the other end, when your call if finally put through, as if the person you called hung up on you.
Hopefully it is not costing us phone users extra credit every time we sit and wait helplessly while the advertisement runs all the way the way to the end.
Shouldn’t the Office of the Regulator be looking into this kind of abuse…er… when the new one takes up her job?
