Puzzling why this FAST Govt. is not following the daylight savings tradition that has become an accepted part of our normal lives.

No serious harm or complaints over the years of making the time adjustments.

Still waiting to see any benefits for Samoa by breaking with tradition except for all the confusion it has created by not being in sync with the rest of the world.

Moving with the time has practical and safety benefits like children not getting run over when they stumble onto the road to make their way to school while it’s still dark.        Adjusting the hour makes it possible for the children to be safely on their way in full clear daylight.

Workers would have a few hours of daylight to potter around the homes and do a lot of good for the family after work.

The list of benefits by making the adjustments is a long one.  Maybe there is truth in the saying… ‘ if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”

Hopefully it is not to spite the HRPP that started it.

“…..hated when you’re spiteful, dear
