“So sad that after we had hugged and made up the next day poor Tiatia was sacked”.
Talk about punching straight.
To put it bluntly, that landed right between the eyes. Whose eyes? Speaker Papali’i.
Poor man was looking unsuspectingly at opposition MP Lealailepule but didn’t see the big man’s straight right until it landed. Wicked one Leala.
The Speaker is a good man though. Soft hearted with a genuine, helping smile who is always giving chances to opposition MPs to speak out.
Hopefully his problems, like giving the Clerk of the Legislative Assembly the boot, had nothing to do with being made to dangle on a political party string.
It kind of showed up when this hulking Cabinet Minister was caught on Parliament camera silently mouthing from his seat for the Speaker to ‘kipi’ or cut off, one of the opposition MPs trying to interject.
That’s known as pulling the strings on the Speaker, in any language.
Time to take out your Rambo knife Papali’i and swipe away at those insulting controlling things.
No more strings. Your Parliament. Your terms.
….hey that Rambo mention has a fierce ring to it, dear
