Seeing all those tattooed men and women parade along beach road last Thursday was quite impressive.
Proud moment seeing the proud display of cultural wear by a whole lot of people- the tattooed ones were stood out in the crowd.
These are traditional tattoos for men and women around the legs up to the mid-section.
There are other body tattoos of course but they’re by people who believe it makes them look good or whatever.
Our men with their ‘tatau’ and women with their ‘malu’ gave the SNPF golden jubilee parade a special sense of achievement.
Good on them and on our Fund for coming to the rescue with our interest dividends when we needed it most.
